LV XLPE compounds

RCGC produces LV XLPE material, which is used as insulation in low voltage cables. LV XLPE compounds are produced to the very best quality specifications and highest purity levels using state-of-the-art machines and the most advanced automatic mixing technology. The plant also produces MDPE material that is used in inner sheath of MV cables.

LV XLPE compounds

The XLPE types produced in RCGC are as follows:

 

  • A- RC XLPE LV: FAST CURING SILANE CROSSLINKABLE PE Compound

    RC XLPE LV is Silane grafted polyethylene insulation compound for low voltage power cable designed to be used with RC XLPE LV CT catalyst masterbatch. This product exhibits excellent processing performance.

    Applications: - Insulation compound for Low voltage conductor up to 3.3 KV

      
  • B–RC XLPE LV SR: - SUN RESISTANT FAST CURING SILANE CROSSLINKABLE PE

    RC XLPE LV SR is Silane grafted polyethylene sun resistant insulation compound for low voltage power cable designed to be used with RC XLPE LV CT catalyst masterbatch. This product exhibits excellent processing performance.

    Applications: - Insulation compound for Low voltage conductor up to 3.3 KV

     
  • C- RC XLPE LV CAT

    Catalyst for XLPE Insulation of Low voltage conductor up to 3.3 KV.

    Applications: - insulation processes in cable plant for increasing the chemical reactions then increasing the curing and cross linking percentage.

     
  • D- RC MB 1010:- Riyadh cable MB with anti oxidant

    Riyadh cable MB is polyethylene mixed with antioxidant as semi finish good product with granules shape.

    Applications :- using as antioxidant during process and compounding of XLPE product

     
  • E- RC MDPE: - Riyadh cable medium density polyethylene

    Applications: - RCMDPE are using for MV Filling/separation sheathing

     
  • F- RCS LSF ATH: - Thermoplastic low-smoke halogen-free flame retardant compound for cable sheathing.

    A flame-retardant low-smoke thermoplastic compound which has been specially developed to meet the requirements of limited toxic/corrosive fume emission, having good moisture resistance and hot pressure performance its suitable up to 215 °C.

    Applications: - HFFR/LSHF (RCS LSF ATH) is used by cable manufacturers as inner and outer sheath XLPE insulated cable to get the performance properties for low and medium voltage cables.

     
  • G- RCS LSF MDH: Thermoplastic low-smoke halogen-free flame retardant compound for cable sheathing.

    A flame-retardant low-smoke thermoplastic compound which has been specially developed to meet the requirements of limited toxic/corrosive fume emission, having good moisture resistance and hot pressure its suitable up to 340°C

    Applications: - HFFR/LSHF (RCS LSF MDH) is used by cable manufacturers as inner and outer sheath XLPE insulated cable to get the performance properties for low and medium voltage cables.
