I am pleased to introduce this report to outline some achievements realized by Riyadh Cables Group of Companies (RCGC) during the last Financial year. Although last year was full of challenges, the Group was able to accomplish outstanding results as it has reached its highest records in sales and distribution. The Group has increased its production capacity by adding new production lines and upgrading the existing ones to meet the increasing demand of all its products in local and external markets. The Group has completed the high voltage project in Riyadh, in which the most advanced technology was used. This timesaving technology is based on conducting on-site high voltage tests by using a unique mobile AC-based testing unit. The successful use of this technology, for the first time in the Middle East, was an important achievement for SCECO Central and RCGC in view of the close mutual cooperation and collaboration between the two parties.

The new expansion is one of many important steps taken by the Group to reinforce its readiness for the coming phase of globalization. The group is continuously introducing new products accordingly to meet the increasing demand in communication and information fields.

The Group's ongoing development includes all human, technical and machinery aspects.Every year RCGC organizes and conducts many training courses to provide its employees with up-to-date required skills and to be abreast of the latest technological advancements in the fields of industry, communications and programs.

All these achievements were in line with economic directives approved by the government, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Such as encouraging foreign investments and changing investments laws to suit the coming phase which is expected to witness several positive financial and economical developments that will contribute to boost the national economy. RCGC is working persistently with ambitious plans in the field of research and development to engulf the latest international advancements. RCGC is proud of being one of the national industrial pillars in the Kingdom, and of its capability to introduce the best quality products and services to its clientele inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The accomplishments and the constant growth could only be achieved by the grace of Allah and then by the effective economic policies adopted by the government and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

The government has spared no efforts to establish the necessary infrastructure for enhancing Saudi economy to face international competition and creating the appropriate environment for investment where both national economy and citizens will benefit.

The support and encouragement offered to the industrial sector by specialized ministries such as Ministry of Industry & Electricity, Ministry of Commerce and many other authorities was fundamental in developing the sector to reach self-sufficiency level and to assist in penetrating international markets.

Finally, I would like to extend my gratitude and thanks to our valuable customers for their continuous support and trust and to my colleagues at the Board of RCGC and to all Group employees for their dedication and sincere efforts.
